Bartlett Lake has an average depth of 3 feet and is more of a wetland that a fishing lake. The fishery has been impacted by flooding in 2011 and drought conditions in 2012. The most recent fishery survey conducted in 2014 collected only shortnose gar and common carp. A past survey from 2012 included largemouth bass (15 to 17 inches), bluegill, black crappie (11-inches), and black bullheads.(2015)
