Blue Heron is best targeted for crappie, largemouth bass, channel catfish and hybrid striped bass. White and black crappie are present in good numbers with sizes ranging from 7 to 11 inches. Channel catfish are abundant and the most common sizes sampled ranged from 12 to 22 inches. Hybrid striped bass are growing well with sizes ranging from 18 to 24 inches.(2015)
