The fishery in the Atlantic Quarry Pond was evaluated in 2010 when an electrofishing survey was completed. Game fish sampled included largemouth bass, white crappie, bluegill and channel catfish. Largemouth bass ranged in size from 3-inches to 21-inches. Quality sized (10 to 11-inches) white crappies were common. Channel catfish are stocked in the fall during odd numered years. This pond is frequently connected to the river and a number of river species are present including gizzard shad, bigmouth buffalo, and common carp.(2016)
