In the News.....

The Watershed Improvement Review Board recently approved eleven applications totaling $959,684 in grants to support projects that will improve water quality or reduce flooding in the state (February of 2013).   The IOWATER program and the DNR Watershed Monitoring and Assessment Section have been supporting monitoring efforts in several of the watersheds to understand sources or causes of pollution and help identify areas in need of best management practices.
