Iowa Flora and Fauna Specialist Database
The Iowa Flora and Fauna Specialist Database is designed to be a resource for land managers that are interested in learning what flora and fauna are present on their land. These specialists can help land managers identify specimens through photos, offer technical assistance for managing wildlife through email or phone calls, and some will even come out and survey for different wildlife. The goal of this database is to make it easier for land managers to get the information they need to manage for fish and wildlife diversity. If you need assistance with identifying flora and fauna or would like suggestions on how to manage for certain species, please use this database as a tool to help you connect to people who can help you get the information you need.
(Due to the large size of the avian specialist community, bird specialist lists may be added at a later date.)
