In the DNR the wildlife diversity program are the folks in charge of all those critters you can’t hunt fish or trap… from the twelve-spotted skimmer dragonfly to cerulean warblers.

On the Inside Wildlife Diversity web pages you can find out a little bit more about this expansive and ever-growing program. Get introduced to our small staff, find out how wildlife diversity work in Iowa is funded, explore grant opportunities for non-game research and habitat management and peruse a variety of publications.  You can also read about our current activities in our Wildlife Diversity Newsletter. Thanks for Visiting!
