Avoid Bel Air Boat Ramp on Storm Lake
Posted: 04/05/2012
STORM LAKE - Boaters and anglers heading to Storm Lake should not use the boat ramp at Bel Air Beach on the southeast side due to low water levels.
Storm Lake is currently about 1-1/2 feet low, creating a shallow area that extends out into the lake making it nearly impossible to get a boat into deep water.
Boaters should instead use the state marina at Casino Point or the east boat ramp until the water levels return to normal.
