Inland Waters and Boundary Rivers The season is open all year. Inland waters - the daily bag limit for crappie and bluegill is 25 for each species on public waters in the state. No possession limit. Boundary rivers: Missouri and Big Sioux rivers - None. On the Mississippi River and all connected backwaters along Iowa border daily possession limit is: 25 for bluegills and pumpkinseeds combined, 25 for crappie, 25 for rock bass, 25 white bass and yellow bass combined, and 25 yellow perch. Possession limit is 50 for each of the above. There is no minimum length limit. Border Lakes The season is open all year. The daily bag limit is 30. The possession limit is 30. There is no minimum length limit. |
