  • Swan Lake, Carroll County - 3 miles Southeast of Carroll; Fishing house (located at southwest side of lake)
Southwest Iowa:
  • Arrowhead Lake, Pottawattamie County - 1.5 miles southeast of Neola; Fishing pier (located near main access)
  • Beaver Lake, Dallas County - 1.5 miles north of Dexter; Fishing pier (located near south end of dam)
  • Big Creek Lake, Polk County - 2 miles north of Polk City; Fishing pier (located on east side of lake)
  • Cottonwood Area, Des Moines River, Polk County - Fishing pier (located near north end of area)
  • Fogle Lake, Ringgold County, West edge of Diagonal - Fishing jetty (located near boat ramp)
  • Lake Ahquabi, Warren County - 5 miles south of Indianola; Fishing house (located north of beach)
  • Lake Icaria, Adams County - 4 miles north of Corning - Fishing pier (located on north end of lake)
  • Lake Manawa, Pottawattamie County - Southwest edge of Council Bluffs; Fishing pier (located on southwest part of lake)
  • Three Mile Lake, Union County - 2 miles north of Afton; Fishing pier (located near east boat ramp)
Northeast Iowa:

Lakes:

  • Alice Wyth Lake, Black Hawk County - North edge of Waterloo, Fishing jetty (located on north side of the lake)
  • Bussey Lake, Clayton County - North edge of Guttenberg, Pool 10 Mississippi River, Fishing pier (located near boat ramp)
  • George Wyth Lake, Black Hawk County - North edge of Waterloo, Fishing pier (located on west side of the lake)
  • Lake Meyers, Black Hawk County - In Evansdale; Fishing pier (located on north side of the lake)
  • South Prairie Lake, Black Hawk County - Southwest edge of Cedar Falls, Fishing jetty (located on northeast corner of the lake)
  • Volga Lake, Fayette County - 3 miles North of Fayette; A fishing pier is located just north of the boat ramp and a jetty is located on the east end of the dam.
  • Heritage Pond, Dubuque County - 2 miles north of Dubuque; Fish pier (located on the northeast corner of the lake)
  • Lake Hendricks, Howard County - 1/2 mile northeast of Riceville; Fishing pier (located in the northwest bay)
Trout Streams:
  • Clear Creek, Allamakee County - West edge of  Lansing; fishing pier is located in the Clear Creek Preserve area
  • Richmond Springs, Delaware County - 3 miles southwest of Strawberry Point in Backbone State Park; accessible sidewalk is located near the second ford from the north entrance
  • Sny McGill, Clayton County - 4 miles Southwest of McGregor adjacent to County Road X50 Bridge
  • Trout Run, Winneshiek County - 1 mile south of Decorah; fishing jetty is located across from the hatchery entrance road
  • Bankston Creek, dubuque County - 6 miles southeast of Holy Cross; accessible sidewalk is located adjacent to the main parking area.
  • Little Paint Creek, Allamakee County - 5 miles southwest of Harpers Ferry in the Yellow Rive State Forest; accessible sidewalk is located in the Little Paint Campground.
  • Paint Creek, Allamakee County - 1/2 mile west of Waterville; accessible sidewalk is located on the new County Conservation Board Property.
Rivers:
  • Cedar River, Black Hawk County - Northwest edge of Waterloo in George Wyth State Park, adjacent to the Cedar River boat ramp
  • Turkey River, Fayette County - West edge of Elgin - located in the Gilbertson Conservation Education Area.
  • Wapsipinicon River, Buchanan County - 1 mile southeast of Independence in the Three Elms area, located adjacent to the concrete boat ramp
Southeast Iowa:
  • Belva Deer Recreation Area, Keokuk County - 5 miles Northwest of Sigourney; Fishing pier (located on Belva Deer Pond)
  • Green Castle Lake, Marshall County - 1 mile South of Ferguson; Fishing pier (located on west side of lake)
  • Hannen Lake, Benton County - 4 miles Southwest of Blairstown; Two fishing piers (located on east and west side of lake)
  • Lake Darling, Washington County - 3 miles West of Brighton; Fishing jetties (located near main boat ramp area)
  • Lake Keomah, Mahaska County - 6 miles East of Oskaloosa; Fishing pier (located near the west end of the lake)
  • Lake of the Hills, Scott County - Davenport; Fishing pier (located at main parking area)
  • Lake McBride, Johnson County - 4 miles West of Solon; Fishing jetty (located East of causeway near South campgrounds)
  • Lake Sugema, Van Buren County - 3 miles Southwest of Keosauqua; Fishing pier (located near northeast boat ramp)
  • Lake Wapello, Davis County -  7 miles West of Drakesville; Fishing pier (located near west end of dam)
  • Pleasant Creek Lake, Linn County - 4 miles North of Palo; Fishing pier (located South side of lake near main boat ramp)
  • Railroad Lake, Scott County - Davenport; Fishing pier (located near main parking area)
  • Rogers Lake, Benton County - 3.5 miles Northwest of Vinton; Fishing Pier (located northeast side of lake)
  • Saulsbury Bridge Recreation Area, Muscatine County - 5 miles Northwest of Muscatine; Fishing pier (located near area entrance)
