Fishing at the Turkey River is a unique experience
in Iowa. Big Springs flows directly into the Turkey River, which allows
trout to survive year round. This section is heavily stocked and provides
excellent fishing for trout. Above and below the trout section can also
provide fast smallmouth bass action. A trip to the Turkey River can be
easily combined with a visit to the Big
Springs hatchery and provide enjoyment for the whole family. |
