Trout Run is located immediately south of Decorah.
This stream starts at scenic Siewers Springs which provides water for the
Iowa DNR Decorah Trout Hatchery.
This hatchery rears trout which are stocked into area streams.
A visit to the hatchery and some fishing on Trout Run is an excellent
outing for you or your family. DNR personnel at the Hatchery are always
willing to answer your questions.
