Silver Creek

Silver Creek is no longer open to public fishing.

It is unfortunate that we are losing access to this fishery for our trout anglers, but the DNR would like to emphasize that we still have many other cooperative landowners who allow public fishing access on their private property. The Iowa DNR would like to remind anglers that fishing private property is a privilege not to be taken lightly and to be courteous and respect the land and water resources. Please pick up and take any trash out with you to keep the area clean and enjoyable for the next person. The next time you head out to your favorite trout stream, take the extra effort to meet the landowner. A simple thank-you can go a long way to continue the partnerships that are so valuable to Iowa’s trout fishing.
