Union Grove Lake

Located 4 miles south of Gladbrook, Tama County.

Union Grove Lake is a 118 acre impoundment in Union Grove State Park. Two concrete boat ramps are available, one on the west side and the other on the east shore of the lake. Excellent shore fishing is available; nine fishing jetties are scattered around the lake.

Largemouth bass, saugeye, bluegill and crappie are the most frequent fish caught. Northern pike, channel catfish and bullhead add to the angler's creel. Saugeye, channel catfish and northern pike are stocked annually.
