Become a Rebuild Iowa Leader
Rebuild Iowa is a collaborative initiative designed to help communities identify, implement, and finance cost-effective energy efficiency improvements.
By becoming a Rebuild Iowa leader you can help your community unite with
the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the United States Department
of Energy to integrate local, state, and federal resources in a comprehensive,
community-wide initiative that secures the economic and environmental benefits of energy efficiency.
By using energy more efficiently, communities save money, improve productivity, stimulate the local economy and reduce pollution. In fact, for every $1 million invested in energy management, $167,000 is saved annually and 25 jobs are created. Additionally, tons of pollutants are prevented from entering the atmosphere.
