Iowa Audubon and Iowa Department of Natural Resources are co-hosting this dedication that will include brief presentations and the unveiling of a special Globally Important Bird Area sign. A field trip will leave from the state forest headquarters at 9 AM, returning in time for the dedication ceremony. Additional Important Bird Area program and BCA information is available at the Web sites listed below.

Location:
Yellow River State Forest headquarters, located along Allamakee County Highway B25, about 5 miles southwest of Harper’s Ferry.
