The boil advisory for Pikes Peak State Park
The boil advisory for Pikes Peak State Park issued on Aug. 22 has been lifted after water samples tested clean for bacteria on Wednesday.
The boil advisory was issued after the campground distribution system was hooked on to a new well. The system was shock chlorinated for 24 hours, then flushed for two days to remove the chlorine.
