Boil Advisory Lifted for City of Charlotte
Charlotte ― The city of Charlotte lifted its boil advisory the morning of June 3. Water samples taken after repair to a water main showed the water is safe to drink.
The city and DNR issued the boil advisory as a precaution after a contractor installing a new city well turned off water to the city to make a connection causing the system to become depressurized. When the water was turned back on a water main break was discovered along Highway 136.
