| Our bureau consists of customer service and licensing staff. We provide internal services to the staff of the Department of Natural Resources. Our areas include the Licensing Section, Customer Phone Center, Customer Service Centers, Records Center, Mailroom, and Publications.
Our Customer Phone Center is your main contact with the department on any DNR topic. If you have any questions, call them Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at (515) 281-5918. You may also e-mail them at webmaster@dnr.iowa.gov, and you will receive a response to your questions.

Our Licensing Section works with Wildlife, Fisheries, and Law Enforcement
bureaus in maintaining the Electronic Licensing System of Iowa (ELSI). They work
with over 900 vendors in providing them information on our licenses and current fees.
Our Customer Service Centers provide assistance to all staff within the
Department of Natural Resources by making sure their programs run efficiently.
They provide mail services, word processing, forms applications, and license sales.
Our Customer Service Centers also provide services to the citizens of Iowa by
making available our forms and publications, licensing sales, and providing
answers to many questions.
