The DNR is beginning to issue voluntary operating permits to facilities who wish to limit potential emissions through restrictions on hours of operation, process throughput, or other means such that the plantwide potential emissions of each regulated air pollutant are brought below the Title V applicability thresholds. These permits are subject to review and public comment prior to issuance. The public notices and fact sheets for draft permits available on this site are intended to supplement, and not replace other notification requirements.
