2008 Air Emissions Inventory Submittals

The Air Quality Bureau staff has begun a detailed review of the 2008 air emissions inventory submittals. For air quality planning purposes as well as meeting the Bureau’s emissions reporting obligations to EPA we wish to continue to insure that the air pollution sources in Iowa are represented by the best possible emissions estimates.

We will be working with facilities over the next few months to review their calculations and sources of emission factors as we quality assure the 2008 emissions inventory. The highest quality emission data is critical to our ability to make informed decisions beneficial to the public health of all Iowans.
