Updated Meeting Time, Location, and Agenda for Next Air Quality Client Contact Meeting

The August 14, 2008 Air Quality Client Contact Meeting location has been changed to the Wallace Building, conference rooms 4E and 4W. The meeting will now start at 2:30 p.m. and is scheduled to end at 4 p.m. This meeting will follow the Environmental Services Division Client Contact Group meeting, which will be held at the same location and starts at 1 p.m.

The agenda for the meeting has been updated and expanded. Topics still include a discussion of strategies related to recent court vacaturs of EPA’s Clean Air Mercury Rule (CAIR) and Clean Air Mercury Rule (CAMR), and the hazardous air pollutant standard for boilers. Staff will also be seeking input on a number of topics related to the applicability of Clean Air Act sections 112(g) and 112(j) in light of the recent court vacaturs, and will provide updates on the PM2.5 nonattainment designation process, the availability of greenhouse gas inventory summary data, and initiate discussions on ideas for a statewide Air Plan.
