BEEP partners will respond in writing to all substantive questions received and those answers will be posted below as they are received. The deadline for written questions is Monday, December 15, 2008.

| Answer: | Yes

| Question: | the bus is used on a special education route can it be considered? |
| Answer: | Yes, if it is a daily route to pick up special education students.

| Question: | Please confirm that a non-public school that does not have a student route is NOT eligible. Our bus is for activities only. |
| Answer: | Since your bus is only used on an occasional basis, I'm afraid you are ineligible for this grant. The RFP states that the grant is intended to assist in replacing buses that are "in daily route use."

| Question: | Does the district solicit bids for the new bus (5b of the Section C-Proposal and Submission Requirements) before knowing if BEEP funding will be provided to the district? |
| Answer: | You need to have a quote or solicit bids. You don't have to lock anything in until you know how your application for funding comes out.
