2012 NASP Virtual Tournament
A New Era in Archery Tournaments is about to begin... The NASP® e-Championships. NASP® is now 10 years old and we’ll have over 10,000 participating schools and over 2 million students world wide this year! To celebrate, we’re holding a virtual tournament using our brand new scoring system so all NASP® students can compete for scholarships!
New Format, Great Prizes
The new virtual format we will use allows 100 percent of NASP® students to participate in a worldwide competitive event and view how their team, school, and individual scores compare against other students worldwide! Our goal for this tournament is to get 100 percent student participation, so please do your part and make sure you and your team are registered and participating so you can win weekly sweepstakes we will award to lucky participating students for prizes like bows, arrows and uniforms for your school program.

Face to Face NASP Archery League - December 15, 2012 through February 16, 2013
Starting in December, all Iowa NASP schools will be eligible to participate in the fourth annual, Iowa NASP invitational league. This league will allow local schools to get together and conduct a competition-style NASP shoot. Results from each competition will be recorded, sent into our office and posted to the DNR website creating a friendly, electronic competition. Top teams and individuals from the Invitational League will be recognized at the state shoot, February 25th at the Iowa Deer Classic. Please contact Iowa DNR Shooting Sports Outreach Coordinator Donise Petersen if you are interested in hosting or attending an Invitational League shoot, or view the links below for currently scheduled events or information on how to host your own NASP league event.

NASP State Championships at the Iowa Deer Classic - March 2nd, 2013
Mark your calendars for the fith annual NASP State Shoot at the Iowa Deer Classic in Des Moines. This will be the culminating state event for NASP in Iowa and will feature individual and team competition for elementary (4th-6th), middle (7th and 8th) and high school (9-12) students from schools with NASP as part of their school curriculum. The Iowa Bowhunters Association is providing two, $1,000 scholarships (one for the top senior boy archer and one for the top senior girl archer). Detailed information and registration materials can be found at the links below. Space is limited, so be sure to register early.
