Fees payable to the fund did not begin to accrue until July 1985 and were not payable to the state until April 1986. Hazardous Waste Remedial Fund Summary

This summary is a brief discussion of fund expenditures and non-hazardous waste fee revenues for the past five years.

• 2011 Hazardous Waste Remedial Fund - Over the life of the fund, more than 66 % of the total cumulative revenues of $8,862,034.43 have come from hazardous waste fees. Total cumulative program expenditures of the fund are $8,621,196.78. One July 1, 2010, the fund had a beginning balance of $450,661.03. One June 30, 2011, the fund had an ending balance of $240,837.65.
• 2010 Hazardous Waste Remedial Fund - Over the life of the fund, more than 66% of the total cumulative revenues of $8,583,340.45 have come from hazardous waste fees. Total cumulative program expenditures of the fund are $8,132,679.42. On July 1, 2009, the fund had a beginning balance of $444,018.53. On June 30, 2010, the fund had an ending balance of $450,661.03.   
• 2009 Hazardous Waste Remedial Fund - Over the life of the fund, more than 66% of the total cumulative revenues of $8,209,765.95 have come from hazardous waste fees.  Total cumulative program expenditures of the fund are $7,765,747.42.  On July 1, 2008, the fund had a beginning balance of $278,744.12.  On June 30, 2009, the fund had an ending balance of $444,018.53.         
• 2008 Hazardous Waste Remedial Fund - Over the life of the fund, more than 66% of the total cumulative revenues of $7,813,730.82 have come from hazardous waste fees. Total cumulative program expenditures of the fund are $7,534,986.70. On July 1, 2007, the fund had a beginning balance of $434,885.61. On June 30, 2008, the fund had an ending balance of $278,744.12. 
• 2007 Hazardous Waste Remedial Fund - Over the life of the fund, more than 64% of the total cumulative revenues of $7,510,221.76 have come from hazardous waste fees. Total cumulative program expenditures of the fund are $7,075,336.15. On July 1, 2006, the fund had a beginning balance of $496,547.80. On June 30, 2007, the fund had an ending balance of $434,885.61.

The Hazardous Waste Fund Balance table shows the annual revenues, expenditures, and year-end balances for each fiscal year starting July 1 and ending June 30. The annual revenues and expenditures started in Fiscal Year 1986.  The small and large quantity generator fee was not imposed until Fiscal Year 1989.  Below, each decade is archived beginning with the 1980s.
