The Bellevue Fisheries Management team is located south of Bellevue on Hwy 52.

Management activities at the Bellevue office include:  

• managing the fisheries on Mississippi River Pools 12, 13, 14 and 15 from Dubuque to above the Quad Cities
• management of commercial fishing permits and reporting
• surveying and assessing fish, turtle  and mussel populations
• analyzing physical, chemical, and biological aspects of area river  watersheds
• installing fish habitat and other structures
• performing fish kill investigations
• enhancing urban fishing opportunities
• conducting fish clinics and outdoor classrooms
