The city of Stockton in Muscatine County lifted its boil advisory this morning. It was in place because water was shut off while a contractor replaced plumbing in the water treatment plant and removed an old hydrant.
With the loss of pressure, it is possible for bacteria to enter the water system. Two sets of water samples showed no bacteria in the system.
