Award Winning Photographer Discusses Book at Briar Cliff University
Posted: 04/01/2014

Noppadol Paothong, a staff photographer at the Missouri Department of Conservation, will speak at Briar Cliff University Saint Francis Center on April 3, at 7:30 p.m.

For the past 11 years, Paothong has worked intently on grassland grouse and their fragile habitats. His 204-page award-winning hardbound book, Save the Last Dance – A Story of North American Grassland Grouse, captures the dazzling beauty of seven grouse species whose populations are diminishing across the prairies and plains of America – and one species that has already lost its battle for survival.

His photos have also appeared in Audubon, Nature Conservancy Magazine, National Wildlife, and Field & Stream.

Event co-sponsored by BCU Center for Prairie Studies and the Loess Hills Audubon Society.
