The Iowa Department of Transportation is now accepting grant applications for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) grant program for diesel fleets in the state of Iowa.

The Iowa Department of Transportation is now accepting grant applications for U. S Environmental Protection Agency’s Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) grant program. This grant program is eligible for diesel fleets in all 99 Iowa counties.

The Department of Natural Resources received grant funding from the Environmental Protection Agency for a diesel emission reduction program in Iowa.  The DNR has created a competitive application process to fund projects that will implement cost-effective strategies that result in diesel emission reductions statewide.
